Former high-level driver (5 podiums in the world sprint championship including a victory in Great Britain in 1983), Jacques Bolle was vice-president of the FFM before succeeding Jean-Pierre Mougin as president in 2008 ( read in particular). Aged 53, this father of two led the Moto Club de Lesigny from 1978 to 2009 and joined the FFM in 1985 as elected to the Commission des courses sur route (CCR). He was also president of the Ile-de-France regional motorcycling league from 1988 to 2008. |
"First of all, I would like to thank the members of the management committee and of the general assembly who renewed their confidence in me for this second term", commented Jacques Bolle..
"I am happy to represent all French bikers, and to continue defending the practice of motorcycling sport in all its forms".
"I intend to continue and amplify the dynamic that I have put in place since 2008, in particular the aid program for clubs. It is with the development of the offer of practice and events that we will win licensees and retain them. ", ambitions the" new "president of the FFM.
"I also wish to open new projects, in particular the reform of the governance of the Federation and the securing of the motocross circuits. The situation of the Federation is healthy and allows us to aim for ambitious objectives".
"But there are serious threats to our sport," he laments. "The environmental constraints which have multiplied in recent years are causing significant organizational difficulties to our events and our clubs".
"Faced with this, the FFM must be offensive and imaginative. The purchase of circuits is an illustration of this".
"More recently, the problems linked to insurance, including the vertiginous increase in costs due to the legalization of society, which some qualify as" American drift ", could lead us to a dead end. I have already launched a whole series of actions, and I make the defense and the safeguard of our activities, my priority. We will not let ourselves be done ".
