Macao Moto GP: new hat-trick for the BMW S1000RR
The 50th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix took place last Saturday. As in 2015, the event was dominated by three BMW S1000RRs, driven by the British Hickman, Rutter and Jessop who finished the race in that order…. and in the same second! Video explanations.

"The Macau Grand Prix is ββone of the highlights of the season in terms of international road competitions," BMW rightly considers, "and it is a hunting ground where it is showing itself to its advantage". And, the German bombs actually broke everything !
A second ahead of his little comrades after qualifying on the first day, Michael Rutter (team Bathams / SMT Racing) lost the next day to Martin Jessopp (RidersMotorcycles), who took pole position in front of the same Rutter and an impressive rookie: Glenn Irwin on Ducati (Be Wiser) !
, Peter Hickman (Rutter’s teammate at Bathams / SMT Racing) meanwhile took "only" seventh place on the grid, behind big names in motorcycle road races (Johnson, Easton, Saiger) and ahead of even bigger ones: McGuinness, teammate Cummins and Hutchinson !
Very quickly, however, victory was played between the three men mounted on the: Jessop and Rutter repeatedly exchanged the controls of the race while Hickman, a time harassed by the remarkable Irwin, produced his effort to get back on the leading duo (see the).
Finally, the “Number One” 2015 managed to gain the advantage over his two compatriots and BMW colleagues: “at the end of a thrilling and spectacular battle throughout the 12 laps of the Guia circuit, Hickman crossed the finish line in winner, with only 0.533 seconds ahead of Rutter ", recounts BMW.
"Jessopp finished third, just 0’122 from Rutter and 0’655 from Hickman. The dominance of these three BMW drivers was glaring, their lead over their closest rival amounting to 20 seconds" … was Connor Cummins acting on the – good – old !
