New colors and price increases on the Kawasaki Z900, Ninja 1000 SX and the 650 range
Kawasaki offers new dresses to several of its best-selling motorcycles: Z900, Z900RS, Z1000SX, Z650, Ninja 650, Versys 650 and Vulcan S. These new colors – with a few increases – also indicate that these motorcycles will not experience any changes in 2021. Presentations.
No less than six new motorcycles are expected from Akashi for the 2021 vintage, but to date only the "new" – variation halfway between the standard and the luxurious SE – and the KX450 and KX250 motocross have been unveiled. Kawasaki continues the suspense by lifting the veil on new colors on technically unchanged motorcycles.

Honor, honor: this festival of new colors begins with the and its sumptuous "class-ique" variation. Akashi’s flagship roadster – improved last year with notably TFT instrumentation and traction control – now appears in white and black with green rims and frame, in black with red rims and frame or fully black with green frame and reminders green on the scoops and rim threads.

This 125 hp motorcycle for 212 kg – Euro5 and declined to 95 hp for A2 motorcycle licenses – is announced at a price of 9,699 euros, or 200 euros more than at its launch and at the end of 2019. Ditto for the Z900 A2, which increased from 9,199 to 9,399 euros.
The Z900RS, for its part, retains its elegant bottle-green "Candytone" color with yellow borders but has two variants of black: black "Metallic Spark Black" with green stripe and black "Ebony" with gray stripe. A little dark all that, and much less "sexy" than the sumptuous orange and black dress 2019! Despite the absence of real developments, this beautiful motorcycle – more "neo" than "retro" – also increases by 400 euros (12,499 euros).
No price hike for the popular Z650
The Ninja 1000SX renews the mixture of green and black specific to Kawasaki and is also available in gray and black as well as in black with touches of red-orange (fairings, tank and threads of rims). The old name – in our opinion more consistent – also undergoes a price increase: 14,549 euros (+ 200 € in SE version), or 200 euros additional.
Finally, the entire range of motorcycles powered by the joyful 649 cc bi-cylinder also has new color palettes: from the popular to the and through. Two points to remember before "sending the colors" below: only the Z650 remains at the same price (7299 euros), while its road, trail and custom versions increase from 100 to 200 euros.

The Versys 650 (€ 8,249) and Vulcan S (€ 7,849 to € 8,049) strangely ignore the changes that appeared last year on the Z650 and the Ninja 650 (€ 7,899 to € 8,099), in particular the very nice TFT instrumentation colors and connected or even the new more efficient Dunlop tires.
Next meeting on November 23, 2020 to discover the other "real" Kawasaki 2021 novelties: stay tuned !
