“Also, we couldn’t have come in a better position after the podium in Austria,” continues Fabio, who is currently in his first season in MotoGP. “It’s nice to be able to rest and train for a week and that means as always I come to Silverstone ready to achieve the best possible result. I’m really confident that I’m going to be riding a track with shorter straights and more turns than the Red Bull Ring ".
"Full of adrenaline at every lap"
An optimism widely shared by his teammate Franco Morbidelli,: "the Yamaha will behave very well at Silverstone because it is better suited to smooth turns than to slow turns, at the end of which you have to accelerate very hard".
“I was disappointed when the race was canceled last year because the track is excellent and very complete,” continues the 24-year-old Italian-Brazilian driver: “a lap at Silverstone lasts a very long time, with lots of nice curves and an important historical aspect. The first winding sector is a very beautiful dance on the motorbike that leaves you full of adrenaline at every turn! "
