According to Bibendum, the Pilot Road 4 would offer "20%" more longevity compared to its predecessor, as well as a shorter braking distance of "17%" than that obtained by its closest competitor in wet conditions..
This difference, measured during tests commissioned by Michelin with Dekra, would even climb to "24%" on white stripes or pedestrian crossings. !
To achieve these results, this novelty uses a new compound with a high silica content, redesigned tread patterns and a dual-compound blend. The sizes available range from 110 at the front to 190 at the rear and naturally include the "classic" combinations 120/70/17 and 180/50/17 or 120/70/17 and 190/55/17. The site will soon tell you a lot more about this new Michelin tire, which we will be testing very soon on the road but also on the circuit: stay tuned !
