From October 10 to 17, Suzuki is organizing with its partner ELO a rally of around 1300 km in the southwest of Morocco, reserved primarily for owners of V-Strom (possibility of rental on site). Booking before May 31: € 2,250 (pilot + motorbike). On June 1: € 2,490. Accompanying person: 1290 €.

Rising from its ashes, the V-Strom 1000 is certainly not as sharp as its more serious rivals, clad in electronics but also more expensive. It remains nonetheless an excellent motorcycle, robust, well designed and displayed at an attractive price in a category where the "always more" also affects the price….
For its part, the V-Strom 650 remains a model of versatility and practicality, while remaining capable of venturing into motorable paths and of covering great distances. All at a very reasonable price, which is far from the case with all motorcycles. !
The fact remains that increasing the number of versions (nine variants from two models!) Is not enough to hide certain shortcomings linked, among other things, to the aging of the 650 cc. The V-Strom XT would have notably benefited from receiving suspensions offering more travel, a metal engine guard and a deactivatable ABS so that its adventurous image is more than a marketing argument….
