WSBK Qatar 2015: Max Biaggi deprived of desert
Max Biaggi had trained hard for his last (?) Participation in a World Superbike event, this weekend in Losail … Unfortunately, a beast but nasty fall in MTB has just forced him to retire.
Eliminated at the first turn of the second round in on the Sepang circuit, the Roman Emperor wanted to take his revenge on the occasion of the 2015 World Superbike final which will be played this Sunday in Losail (read).

"During one of my usual mountain biking workouts in the hills of Monte Carlo, I suffered a bad fall. Doctors diagnosed tearing of the left adductor, which severely affected my abdominals", he specifies.
"This situation unfortunately prevents me from participating in the races in Qatar. The Aprilia team and I were ready to do great things, I’m really disappointed !", concludes Biaggi. Goodbye podium, victory, Superpole, Tissot watch…
The ex-Grand Prix star, who is now around 45, will therefore have to be content with watching his young comrades pull out the big attack to shine in the Qatari spotlight: Chaz Davies and Tom Sykes, in particular, will compete for second place in the championship !
Max, for his part, will be able to prepare his defense … According to the daily La Repubblica, the pre-retired will be heard in a little less than a year by a judge in Rome: the Italian tax authorities who had in 2008, would claim a similar sum from Max…
