Top 10 in the Chopper / Cruiser category

As a critical jury, you chose your favorites in ten categories in the MOTORRAD readers’ poll 2020. Here are the top 10 in the Chopper / Cruiser category.

Triumph fights a battle among themselves in the Chopper / Cruiser category: In 2020 the new Triumph Rocket 3 R / GT is in first place, with a very clear 24.6 percent approval. Last year – and also in 2018 – the Triumph Bonneville Bobber / Black won the gold medal in the MOTORRAD readers’ poll. This year she came in second with 12.2 percent of the vote. The 2019 and 2018 runner-up has to give way to third place in 2020 – it is the Ducati Diavel 1260 / S, which with 12.1 percent of the readers’ votes is just behind the Bonneville. It supports the sister model Ducati XDiavel / S, which won over 10.9 percent of the readers.

Harley and Guzzi share 6th place

In fifth and sixth place are two Harley models: the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114, with 8.7 percent of the readers’ votes, still finds a good connection with the Ducati XDiavel / S. In the case of the Harley-Davidson Breakout 114, a slightly larger gap to the top 5 can be seen with 5.8 percent approval. The Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Sport, which shares sixth place with the Harley-Davidson Breakout 114, also received 5.8 percent of the readers’ votes. Last year, both models – Breakout and V9 Bobber – were voted into the top 10 in the Chopper / Cruiser category, but were not so close together: the Harley-Davidson Breakout 114 made it to fifth place with 7.8 percent of the votes, the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber in eighth place with 4.7 percent.

But let’s get back to the top 10 of the MOTORRAD readers’ choice 2020 in the Chopper / Cruiser category: The Indian Scout Bobber, which attracted 4.6 percent of the readers, rolls in eighth place. In 2019 she made seventh place as a new addition. The Moto Guzzi Eldorado climbed ninth in 2020 with 4.5 percent of the vote. Last year it was still in 6th place, ahead of its sister brand V9 Bobber.

The top 10 is completed by the Indian Chief Dark Horse, which won 3.3 percent of the readers.
