If you want to compete on the racetrack with your YZF-R1 or YZF-R6, you will find various specific tuning parts from Yamaha. The Japanese have now presented the new parts range.
If you want to compete with other racers on the racetrack, you need high-quality material. Because Yamaha knows how popular the YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 are among racing drivers, the brand with the three tuning forks in its logo has repositioned its racing parts program.
Selected parts will be sold worldwide through Yamaha dealers under the acronym GYTR (Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing). The new Raceparts should be available from April 2018. Prices were not mentioned and must be requested from the dealer on site.
For the racetrack only
The parts developed by Yamaha for the two R models include reprogrammed engine control modules, stripped down wiring harnesses, special spark plugs and improved air ducts to the airboxes. In addition, there are camshafts with modified profiles, lighter pistons and connecting rods, as well as lighter wheels with bearings and brake discs.

All parts offered are only intended for use on the racetrack.
In addition to the parts developed in-house, Yamaha also offers tailor-made parts from well-known accessory providers. Akrapovic supplies new exhaust systems, high-quality spring elements and steering dampers come from Ohlins, Gilles Tooling contributes various protectors and levers.
All parts are of course only designed for use on the racetrack and are not street legal.
