Moto Guzzi unveils at Intermot in Cologne a "carbonized" version of its big custom Audace, originally derived from the California 1400 and its tasty 1400 cc v-twin of 96 hp and 121 Nm of torque. In addition to its fiber coating, this Audace Carbon also inherits mechanical arrangements to meet Euro4.

This dark and intimidating Audace Carbon further adopts radial calipers and red cylinder head covers – as on the -, as well as a short exhaust with a new catalytic treatment to suit Euro4. An accelerator now 100% electronic is also installed to improve injection management, to the benefits of driving pleasure and consumption (therefore also favorable to lower emissions).

Finally, the handlebars take on a different shape on its ends – lower and closer together – which is also surmounted by new instrumentation surrounded by aluminum. As on the California 1400, the Audace Carbon receives as standard three configurable maps on the handlebars, an anti-slip and a cruise control. The price is not yet communicated, nor the commercial objectives that we imagine modest in France. For information, Moto Guzzi only plans to sell around fifty units of its on the French market.
