New 2015 EICMA: Honda unveils its RC213V-S road prototype

Very little information is known for the moment on this radical sports car, in the right line of the NR750, but MNC could see that it receives a 4-cylinder in V like the motorcycles of Grand Prix. It has the same exhaust system as the MotoGP machines, with a low outlet and an outlet in the seat cowl or also integrates in LED light.

At the front, the headlights are well integrated into the fork crown. The front suspension is provided by an inverted Ohlins fork with separate cartridges while at the rear there is a huge aluminum swingarm, inside which passes the final drive chain. A piece of beauty !

To show that this is indeed a motorcycle that will also be intended to ride – a little – on the road, Honda has installed headlights but also mirrors that take place under the wrists. We also note the presence of a shifter (which allows to shift gears on the fly) and Brembo monobloc brake calipers at the front..

No figures or precise characteristics were communicated on site by Honda, which nevertheless suggests that this RCV213V-S will set new standards in terms of power and lightness. The pharaonic prize of 200,000 euros circulates in the aisles of the EICMA show: MNC leads the investigation !
