No 2016 Honda NC750S for France… |
Honda France reveals that the new vintages of CB500F and Integra will be available in "early 2016". On the other hand, quite surprisingly, the new version of the NC750S will for its part "not be marketed in France" next year, informs the French subsidiary…. |
CB500F 2016: sexier
Regarding its entry-level CB500F roadster, Honda only gives the broad outlines of the changes made and for the moment only reveals a photo of its front optics and its straight profile … plunged in the dark !
The few information provided show a new "stripped" style which would be completed by six new colors and rejuvenated by lighting entirely by LED.
The tank capacity gains one liter and now stands at 16.7 liters, while the fork preload and the clutch lever distance are now adjustable. The redesigned escapement would also be lighter, without specifying the gain obtained.
So many predictable changes since already unveiled on the, which uses exactly the same platform as the roadster: a 471 cc twin (47.5 hp and 43 Nm of torque so far) and a basic steel frame, but efficient.

NC750S 2016: more sound and more safe! (not imported into France)
Honda 2016 teasing continues with the NC750S, the economic and utility roadster of the winged crest that shares its engine and chassis base with the NC750X trails and the Integra scooter. Again, the information is delivered sparingly and no full photo is available yet….
However, we learn that the LCD screen instrumentation will offer several different colors, that the lighting is LED at the front and rear and that the new pentagonal exhaust would deliver a deeper sound..
Here again, these changes are common with the rest of the range, including the .
Logically, the roadster should also receive the evolutions already known on the last generation of the trail: three new sub-maps on the S mode of the DCT double clutch versions, improved suspensions and an increase of one liter of the trunk volume ( from 21 to 22 liters) located in place of the tank.

NC750D Integra 2016: Honda sharpens its "motorcycle-scooter"
All the modifications made to the roadster and trail of the NC750 series naturally benefit the Integra, the original concept halfway between motorcycle and scooter developed by Honda on the same platform..
The Integra (real name "NC750D Integra") therefore also inherits full LED lighting, revised instrumentation, optimized suspensions (especially at the fork) and new sub-maps in driving S.
On the other hand, the volume of its trunk will remain – ironically – smaller than on the trail and the roadster, the fault of its ergonomics "scooter" allowing to place the legs in front of you.
Like the NC750S and 2016, the Integra’s placid 745 cc twin-cylinder has been revised to meet new Euro4 standards, no doubt through new injection and work on the exhaust. A hypothesis consolidated by the use of a new silencer on the three models.
Honda does not specify whether this upgrading, mandatory in 2016 on new models, affects the mechanical performance of the NCs, currently set at 54.8 hp and 68 Nm of torque. To follow naturally closely on MNC: stay connected !
