A new three-cylinder Triumph Trophy in 2012 ?
Except that in the age of the Internet and the proliferation of smartphones, these new models are often the subject of more or less accidental "leaks", when they are not photographed by curious people during dynamic tests. !
Past masters in the matter – to the point that the fortuitous nature of these meetings leaves doubtful … – our colleagues have just "surprised" an almost finalized version of the probable new Triumph Trophy.
On the pictures "stolen" by our British colleagues, the large-displacement Triumph road vehicle adopts a long side exhaust outlet, an inverted fork and a final transmission by cardan shaft. And especially lines that are reminiscent of the acclaimed BMW R 1200 RT, especially in the design of the front part in which the mirrors are integrated near the double optics.
More opulent and comfortable in appearance than the Sprint-GT (read our) thanks to a large adjustable windshield, a central stand, side cases and a luggage rack designed to receive a top-case, this new 2012 (? ) would obviously be driven by an inline three-cylinder of 1050 cc or more.
