On the Suzuki stand of the 44th Tokyo Motor Show, visitors will be able to discover a scooter concept, a motorcycle concept … and the real turbo engine of the future Recursion !
On the Suzuki booth of the 44th Tokyo Motor Show, visitors will be able to discover a concept of scooter, a concept of motorcycle… and the true turbo engine of the future !
If the Tokyo Motor Show is primarily run for its cars, we also unearth original two-wheelers. At Suzuki this year, the Hustler Scoot concept tries to stand out with its tangy color, plump face and practicality..
Inspired by the Hustler mini crossover (four-wheeler), the small 50 cc scooter sees the traditional under-seat storage space complemented by a matching case that the driver can attach to the floor between his feet. An ingenious idea absent from commercial vehicles … for the moment !
On its stand, Suzuki also exhibits a sports model, rudimentary certainly, but which guarantees to the many fans of GSX (GSX-R especially, fans of having been served in 2015) that the firm of Hamamatsu will not forget them..
"The GSX concept symbolizes the high-performance motorcycles that bear the GSX name", Suzuki clearly puts it: "it gives shape to the spirit of Suzuki sports cars and evokes a cocoon in which the company’s future sports models will be born".
We can see that the style is extremely conventional … Those who hoped to see a revolutionary "Gex" land in 2016 among the Yellows will no doubt be disappointed. The others will console themselves by believing that we do not change a winning team! – and appreciate the peregrine falcon-shaped optics (, in Japanese …)
Finally, it seems that the Recursion concept is on the way to materialize since its flagship element, the turbo engine, is also presented to the Tokyoites … As a reminder, that its twin-cylinder of about 600 cc supercharged was to spit out 100 hp and 100 Nm … Will the 2015 twin called EX7 be up to the task? Answer to follow on MNC: stay connected !
