Milwaukee Enduro can be pre-ordered in Italy
A Harley Enduro? Yes, the Pan America presented at EICMA 2019 in Milan should actually roll into the grounds in spring 2021. In Italy it is obviously already available for pre-order.
At the beginning of 2019 Harley-Davidson rolled out its future roadmap, which provided for expansion into completely new segments in order to be able to win new and above all younger customers. With the LifeWire, the Americans are now the first large-scale manufacturer to have an electric motorcycle in their range. The next stage of the revolution was presented at EICMA 2019.
145 hp from 1,250 cm³
With the Pan America, Harley-Davidson ventures into the segment of the big travel enduros. The Americans announce it as a modern adventure tourer and a multi-tool for tough use. The heart of Pan America is the new liquid-cooled 60-degree V2 from the Revolution Max engine family. With a displacement of 1,250 cm³, Harley is aiming for an output of over 145 hp and a maximum torque of over 122 Nm. This would put the Harley just below a Ducati Multistrada 1260 and roughly level with a BMW R1250 GS. A balance shaft should eliminate annoying vibrations, the V2 is installed as a load-bearing component. The final drive is via a chain.

In the cockpit there is a large display behind a mechanically height-adjustable panel. The switches on the left handlebar switch indicate cruise control, heated grips and an extensive on-board menu. Presumably there are also various driving dynamics and assistance systems as well as connectivity options hidden in it.
Market launch in spring 2021
The radially mounted four-piston monoblock brake calipers were developed by Brembo for Harley, while the coarse, tubeless tires on the wire-spoke rims come from Michelin. At the rear there are large aluminum cases and a matching top case. With its angular design, the EICMA exhibit remains very close to the study already shown.
The Pan America is due to be launched in spring 2021. In preparation for the market launch, Harley is already trundling through the showrooms of major Harley dealers in France and Italy with pre-series models. An Italian dealer is already accepting reservations for Pan America, as he announced on Facebook.
