Velocifero Beach Mad
Hip electric motorcycle with balloon tires
The Velocifero Beach Mad is an electrically powered fun bike from Italy, which primarily attracts attention with its tire format and slim waist.
Very few motorcyclists in Germany should know what to do with the manufacturer Velocifero. So far, Velocifero has focused more on smaller, electrically powered "scooter" or vehicles that are reminiscent of two- or multi-wheel scooters in terms of structure. Behind the brand, however, is a well-known name in the motorcycle industry: the company founder is designer Alessandro Tartarini, son of Italjet founder Egisto Tartarini, who made a name for himself as a racing driver in the 1950s. Tartarini Junior, on the other hand, designed the new dragster for Italjet.
Beach buggy on two wheels?
The Velocifero Beach Mad was presented for the first time at the Bangkok International Motor Show, which took place in July 2020. For the motor, the manufacturer relies on an electric drive with 2 kWh, which is supposed to enable a top speed of around 60 km / h with the help of a boost – otherwise the Beach Mad is traveling at 45 km / h. Accordingly, Mad Beach can be more or less located in the 50s area. According to the manufacturer, ranges between 60 to 70 kilometers should be possible. It takes 8 to 10 hours to fully recharge the battery. The manufacturer specifies a weight of 90 kilograms. A pillion rider is not planned due to the selected saddle shape.

When looking at the pictures, the balloon tires, which suggest a certain off-road suitability, should stand out above all. The model name, which indicates that the bike can also be moved on sandy surfaces, provides a corresponding indication of this underground flexibility. Velocifero does not provide any further technical data. In the first pictures, the LED lighting, front and rear disc brakes, the slim design and the motorcycle’s strut painted to match the basic color catch the eye. The license plate bracket also suggests that the bike is aiming for street legal approval.
Price and market launch unknown
How much the new "Beach bike" the manufacturer does not reveal. It is also open whether and when the bike will be available. So far, the Beach Mad has been seen in five color variants. A survey shows that the Velocifero Beach Mad is not just a show bike

Conclusion
The Velocifero Beach Mad presented here cannot really be imagined. Nevertheless, the concept is interesting and the look is also quite appealing.
