Building on the success of the Tunisia Rally Tour in early November, Patrick Bournisien launches the Mythic Rally 2013: for ten days of racing from April 30 to May 10, 2013, "the largest motorcycle road rally ever" will cross Spain and the Morocco, announces Mythic Events, the organizing company.

The Mythic Rally will be a Moroccan event under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Motorcycle Federation with the partnership of the Spanish Federation. From Barcelona to Tangier, 3,600 km of unforgettable roads and landscapes, 22 timed events (16 road specials, four circuits and two time bases), luxury hotel accommodation each evening and an "all inclusive" formula.

This new style of rally, which has proven itself during the TRT, offers both technical and varied routes in an exceptional setting and a most friendly atmosphere, while leaving a significant place for the tourist side of an event for the less exotic.

As for the TRT, while the pilots will compete in a fierce race and the Gentlemen Drivers or Gentlemen Riders (see categories below) will follow in their footsteps on the same course, the accompanying persons will also enjoy the landscapes crossed and will live their own adventure. within the rally.

The categories

Three distinct sections: Pilots, Gentleman Drivers and Gentleman Riders

Pilots

For the competitors in the rally itself, in the hunt for the supreme title of winner of the race, compulsory license (for the year or "one test" for the Mythic Rally). Preparation of motorcycles authorized (free power), GPS and duo prohibited. They will be classified by stage and on the integral rally.

Gentleman Drivers

For participants who own motorcycles and three-wheeled vehicles such as MP3 or Spider, who will only do regularity tests (no circuits or special chrono). License required, original motorcycles. GPS prohibited, duets allowed. They will start after the Drivers and will follow the same route. Like the Drivers, they will benefit from rankings.

Gentleman Riders

Category reserved for bikers wishing to follow the event on a "ride", without classifications or imposed average. License not compulsory, GPS and duets authorized, original machines. Will start after the Gentleman Drivers and will also follow the same route.

There will also be a Prototype category for machines which no longer correspond to their "original" homologation, a special Morocco Rally Tour classification (participation on the Moroccan part of the rally only) and other various sub-classifications..
