Road trail, big supermoto, sporty road? The Triumph Tiger 1050 does not care about labels that can be stuck on the back. What she likes is riding, that’s all! So we tried it on 2500 km: report.
The 3-cylinder to live
By definitely turning its back on the earth, the Tiger has suddenly become a sacred road, endowed with unusual versatility. Perhaps less impressive at first glance than a KTM 990 SMT, the Triumph is rather appreciated over time.
Unfortunately, the daily life of the motorcyclist is unfortunately not always marked out only by small twisting roads … Traffic jams and other urban bliss will therefore be all opportunities to savor the homogeneity between the fabulous engine and the healthy cycle part.
The English turns out to be an excellent choice for big (and tall!) Riders. Less exclusive than a Speed Triple, less typical than a Sprint ST, it is also the most versatile offer and the most suitable for daily use of machines equipped with the famous 3-cylinder 1050. And in addition, it is cheapest: € 11,290 without ABS, € 11,790 with !
