Yamaha MT-09 SP 2018: SP-species of toy !
The villainous Yamaha MT-09 offers itself in 2018 an unprecedented version with assertive sporting claims through a fully adjustable Ohlins mono-shock absorber. This MT-09 SP will be available from January 2018 in gray and blue.
A star roadster in the Yamaha range since 2013, the never ceases to seduce thrill seekers with its 847 cc 3-cylinder engine that is as playful as it is vigorous (115 hp). Its only weak point? A rear suspension that admits its limits in very sporty driving, despite enormous progress made in the 2017 evolution.

But if that is not enough for the most demanding, Yamaha now offers it in an SP version with a fully adjustable Ohlins mono-shock at the rear, just like what Kawasaki does with its. End of the day: Swedish shock absorber offers an offset preload adjustment dial.
The inverted fork remains identical to the original model: a 41 mm element adjustable in preload, rebound and compression. Its hydraulic settings have nevertheless been reworked, explains Yamaha, in order to stick to its dynamic claims revised upwards. No fully electronically controlled suspensions, on the other hand, as on the very sharp Yamaha .

This variation is also distinguished by its specific gray color with blue rims (like the MT-10SP) or its totally black levers, handlebars and instrumentation. This MT-09 SP will be available in January 2018, at a price that has not yet been communicated. But since the standard model is € 8,999, MNC estimates it at around € 10,000..
