Rollei 560 Touch: Actioncam with touch display tried out
Rollei 560 Touch
Tried action cam with touch display
The Rollei 560 Touch offers an affordable entry into action videography. Can convince you in the test despite the rather low price?

Assuming a fast memory card (micro SD), it films in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 60 frames per second. That is more than the GoPro Hero 5 offers, with which it is roughly comparable in terms of image quality, viewing angle and touch operation.
Menu structure not really intuitive
Unfortunately, the menu structure is not quite as intuitive as with the industry leader, and the key assignment on the cam does not really make sense: while the red button changes the function, the recording has to be started with the white button. Not only is this unusual, it is also confusing.

The Rollei Actioncam can be operated with the remote control supplied in wristwatch format.
Operation via smartphone app or with the included remote control in wristwatch format is better. On request, the 560 Touch can also film at 120 fps in Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 p), which enables slow-motion recordings. The integrated electronic image stabilization works well, but not in the highest resolution and of course not at the level of the GoPro 7.
Noticed positively: Inexpensive, touch, Wi-Fi, image stabilization
Noticed negatively: Menu navigation, operation directly on the cam
Size: 60 x 41 x 24 mm
Price: 149.99 euros
MOTORRAD verdict: 4 stars out of a possible 5
Conclusion
In the first test, the touch display and the well-functioning image stabilization were convincing. The relatively low entry price of 149.99 euros also speaks in favor of the Rollei 560 Touch. However, buyers will have to get used to the menu navigation first.
