Royal Enfield configurator
Customization for future Enfield owners
Royal Enfield has presented a configurator with which seven different models can be adjusted to suit your own taste – for the time being, however, the service will not be offered in Europe.
Classic retro design, a rather simple technology and a relatively cheap entry-level price: Royal Enfield’s strategy looks well thought out and is also quite successful. The Indian manufacturer has also successfully gained a foothold in Germany with models such as the Himalayan or the two naked bikes Continental GT 650 and Interceptor INT 650. But especially in Asia, Royal Enfield is writing a real success story. In order to offer potential buyers more options, a new online configurator is now available on the Indian website, with which various models can be customized according to your own taste.
Himalayan, Bullet and Thunderbird not yet configurable
However, the configurator is still in its infancy – not all models can be configured accordingly. At the moment, the Interceptor INT 650, Continental GT 650, Classic 350 and Classic 500 models can be adapted to your own taste. But other models will soon also be configurable. The Bullet, Himalayan and Thunderbird models are marked with a “Coming Soon” note – Royal Enfield does not yet reveal when the bikes mentioned can be configured.

The Continental, Interceptor, Classic 350 and Classic 500 models can currently be customized using the configurator.
Among other things, the paintwork, the wheels and tires, various engine covers, the seat and protectors can be configured. However, the configurator has not yet been fully developed – some items such as electronics or the wheels already mentioned cannot currently be selected for some models or in some cases are simply not intended for customization.
The configurator also comes to Germany?
For the time being, the online tool is only available on Royal Enfield’s Indian website. The Indian manufacturer with British roots does not reveal whether the service will also be offered in Europe in the future. However, this does not seem to be entirely ruled out, since Royal Enfield has recently also supplied the European market with motorcycles and is enjoying increasing popularity.
