When the days get colder, functional underwear is the order of the day on the motorcycle. With the Down Y down jacket as well as the functional underwear Kimb-R and Outlast Ladies, Rukka now has three new sets on offer especially for women.

With the Down Y, Rukka offers the women’s model of the men’s down suit Down X, which can be worn under motorcycle suits as a warm intermediate layer. The filling consists of 90 percent down and ten percent feathers.

The down jacket also cuts a fine figure in your free time.

When not in use, trousers and jackets can be stowed in the small bags supplied, which weigh only 300 grams with their contents and can be packed together to save space thanks to their small dimensions of 23 by 12 centimeters. The Down Y jacket can also be worn as a leisure jacket. The pants can be adjusted in width with a cord on the waistband. At the end of the leg sits Rukka on fleece, which creates a perfect transition to boots. The elasticity of the material guarantees a body-hugging fit. The Down Y-Combi is available in sizes 34 to 46, the jacket costs 179 euros, the trousers 119 euros.

The functional underwear ensures that the temperature is equalized.

The body-hugging functional underwear Outlast Ladies and Kimb-R are underwear made of elastic knitted fabric that enables active temperature compensation. To do this, she uses microscopic ceramic balls filled with a special wax, so-called phase change materials, which change their physical state depending on the ambient temperature.

In addition, the laundry does not absorb sweat, but instead directs it to the outside. Kimb-R also shines thanks to the fleece inside with a particularly high level of thermal insulation. Outlast Ladies and Kimb-R consist of a long-sleeved shirt – with the Kimb-R with a zipper at the neckline – and long trousers, the sizes range from 34 to 46.

The Outlast Ladies Shirt and Pants each cost 49.95 euros and will be available from mid-February 2019. The Kimb-R top is available in black with red details for 99.95 euros, while Rukka sells the trousers for 89.95 euros – both products will be available in stores from mid-November 2018.
