Sports helmet becomes more colorful

Traditional headguard Schuberth has given its sporty evergreen S2 Sport three new colors and decors. The new variants are called Polar and create a brilliant balancing act between blatant and dignified.

What began almost 100 years ago with the production of beer crates, ends in a success story at the latest when Michael Schuhmacher won the Formula 1 World Championship in 2001. Schuberth exists since 1922, has been making helmets since 1929 and has been making full-face helmets for motorcyclists since 1976. The S2 Sport has not been around that long, but it can still be considered the long-runner in the range of sporty skull protection shells.

New colors for 2021

So the best opportunity to release a few new decors for 2021. In addition to the simple matt black version, there are now the three Polar versions in blue-white, red-anthracite and yellow-silver.

The S2 Sport from Schuberth is also manufactured using Schuberth’s special GRP injection molding process. The usual, high-quality GRP mats are chopped up and then sprayed into the shape of the helmet with pinpoint accuracy by a robot.

You can also choose between six different visors and five different sun visors. As usual with Schuberth, the clear visors have optical class 1 and the S2 Sport can be expanded with the SRC Bluetooth collar.

The S2 Sport is available in sizes from XS to 2XL. Its helmet shell is formed from fiberglass laminate. The chinstrap uses a double-D fastener. The prices for the Polar variants are not yet known. The basic S2 Sport costs from 479 euros, with decor from 579 euros.

Conclusion

Almost a classic in the Schuberth range. The S2 Sport has been around for almost six years and has since impressed with its sporty cut, low driving noise and comfort. In 2021 there will be three new decors with the cool name Polar.
