The Slovenian Igor Jerman, the Australian Steve Martin and the French Gwen Giabbani (Yamaha) finish 4th in two laps, but consolidate their domination in the general classification of the championship.
This race, in which the official Honda team did not participate for economic reasons, is the only non-compulsory event out of the six appearing on the calendar. Honda won the event last year thanks to Japanese Ryuichi Koyonari and Spaniard Carlos Checa.
