What Boulevard does this valoche custom come from? Very dark, with a discreet elegance, it seems not to want to be noticed. Suddenly, it intrigues even more. Suzuki apparently took and adapted the basis of the M 1500 Intruder (which had a very short career) to design this machine. To meet the desires of getaways, the custom embeds a pair of rigid suitcases as well as an imposing windshield. The protection promises to be remarkable, and the luggage will provide enough to travel a little more than usual with a custom. The sidewalls placed on generous running boards flirting with the crankshaft housings and the seat wedged on a generous saddle, the senatorial rhythm will impose itself..
Who says custom says twin. The C 1500 T is powered by a liquid-cooled 1462 cc long-stroke twin-cylinder, double butterfly injection, single ACT and 4 valves per cylinder. Taken from the old M 1500 Intruder, the unit offers a power close to 80 horses. What interests us more is its torque, whose peak point of 13.1 mkg is reached at only 2600 rpm.
363 kilos braked by a single brake disc ??? Fortunately, the primary goal of a bagger is not performance.
This Intruder Touring offers a cardan drive, a few chrome accents, full instrumentation and a formidable 200mm rear tire. True to its aggressive pricing policy, Suzuki offers its C 1500 T Intruder at a much more affordable price than the Milwaukee references. Don’t look around, it’s the cheapest bagger on the market.
