Machine could not be more practical, this DR (name of trails at Suzuki) is perfect for the city. Its featherweight and maneuverability combine with the playful engine to squeeze in everywhere. The mill (with electric starter) is well known; it is the same as on the GN – with the difference that it benefits from a 6 gearbox on the DR. This brings a real plus in terms of pleasure but is not enough to ensure a respectable speed on main roads. The power is right; But we can still venture far. The autonomy of the machine is impressive, and if the mood takes you, you can very well dawdle in the small roads. The suspensions are in line with this philosophy but involve a significant saddle height – as with all trails. It is not the sports machine that you can find in 2-stroke competition but the machine is comfortable everywhere.
