Limited special model for France

Suzuki France is issuing a limited edition based on the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 R in honor of the famous Suzuka endurance race. The special model appears in the colors of the 2018 Suzuki Yoshimura team and is limited to 30 copies.

V40 years ago, Suzuki and the legendary Japanese tuner Yoshimura competed together for the first time in the long-distance classic Suzuka. This collaboration is now being honored by Suzuki France with a unique special model.

Intended for racing use

According to the occasion, the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 R was refined with all kinds of racing components. Particularly noticeable is the Yoshimura R-11sq racing rear silencer, which is unfortunately not suitable for road use. In addition, a dark-tinted bubble windshield, new levers with appropriate protectors, a racing hump and other racing components were installed. The package also includes a rear wheel stand and a tarpaulin with GSX-R lettering.

Fully upgraded, the Suzuki is no longer allowed to go on the road.

Visually, the special model was adapted to the racing motorcycle from Suzuka down to the last detail, including all sponsor stickers.

The 30 replicas are available now at prices starting at 21,999 euros. Deliveries will start at the end of September. The application area of ​​the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 R Yoshimura Suzuka 8 Hours special models is due to the equipment, however, exclusively intended for the racetrack. The add-on parts necessary for road operation are included.
