At the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Suzuki Italy presented the concept bike Katana 7584. It pays homage to the Katana 750 from 1984.

D.he original Katana concept originated in 1981. Three years later, designer Hans A. Muth followed up with an even more futuristic design, the Katana Shark, which with its folding headlight could even have come from another planet.

Suzuki Italy remembered exactly this concept and tried to combine the current katana with attributes of the Shark. The unique Katana 7584 – 75 for the displacement of 750 cm³ and 84 for the year in which the Katana Shark was released – celebrated its premiere at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona.

Few changes

However, the modifications are very clear. Suzuki Italia mounted a second, steeper windshield over the series fairing screen. The series exhaust had to give way to a complete Yoshimura system with a carbon end cap on the muffler. The license plate bracket was completely painted. There is now a carbon fiber fender over the front wheel. The appearance of the Katana 7584 is rounded off by a gold-red-blue decoration on the front mask and a sticker in black, blue and red on the rear apron, which corresponds to the red pillion seat.
