Suzuki GSX-F 650 2008

It had almost been forgotten in the range. However, the GSX-F label, synonymous with sport-GT for the manufacturer of Hammamatsu, still exists; the proof, it is entitled to a new variation in 2008: it is from now on a 650 which will defend this niche…

650, but this is the capacity of the Bandit ?!? Yes, this new GSX-F is powered by the modern 4-legged liquid of the last generation GSF. But it doesn’t stop there. While the 600 and 750 GSX-F had their own chassis and dress, the 650 is actually a … Bandit 650 with a full fairing. But what a fairing! More typical GSX-R, we do not. The fork crown is an almost copy-paste of the 1000 version 2005. Even the typography of the logo mimics that of the sports car, with a big F in red which clicks..

We will therefore find the qualities of the 650 Bandit with the reinforced protection offered by this new skin. So we can’t really talk about a new bike, or a replacement for the GSX-F, but this solution should allow Suzuki to offer a versatile and accessible road at a very tight price. The old GSX-F also had no heart to fight, powered by an antique and polluting 4-cylinder air / oil, decked out with an aging design and sickened by its rivalry with the legendary VFR. Logically, a 1250 GSX-F should certainly see the light of day within a few quarters..
