Ducati Multistrada 1260
Standard, S-Version and Pikes Peak
Cubic capacity can only be replaced by more cubic capacity. The wisdom also takes the big travel enduro from Bologna to heart and is now pumping itself into the Ducati Multistrada 1260.
"1262 cm³ displacement? I’ll take it, thanks XDiavel, for the offer." The two-cylinder V-engine now develops 158 hp (116 kW) at 9,500 rpm, while the maximum torque of 130 Nm is available at 7,500 rpm. A good 110 Nm of this should already provide propulsion at 3,500 rpm, which is the highest value in the class for the most frequently used speed range. Since you can easily get over the top performance and maximum torque of the new D.ucati Multistrada 1260 are just below the values of the predecessor.
With its full 20 liter tank, the Ducati Multistrada 1260 weighs between 232 and 235 kilograms – depending on the variant. And there are the usual ones: the Ducati Multistrada 1260 in the standard version, the S version, S version with DAir and the top of the (price) list – the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak.
Further changes for the 2018 model year: with 1585 millimeters, a 56 millimeter longer swing arm and a flatter steering head angle (65 instead of 66 degrees), the Ducati Multistrada 1260 should mill more stably, especially when fully loaded.
The standard version of the Ducati Multistrada 1260 has cornering ABS as well as hill start assist and cruise control on board. If you are on red, you use the base. If you want your Bolognese travel enduro in white or gray, you have to go for the next higher equipment variant: Ducati Multistrada 1260 S. This also has TFT instead of LCD technology in the cockpit with simplified menu navigation and Bluetooth interface.
The base will cost around 17,000 euros, and experience has shown that the S version is around 2,000 euros higher.
