Euro 5 and new dark appearance

For model year 2021, the Ducati naked bike will of course come with Euro 5. There is also a new color scheme with Dark Stealth.

The Streetfighter V4 Euro 5 has an output of 208 hp at 13,000 / min (250 / min higher than before) and a torque of 123 Nm at 9,500 / min (2,000 / min lower than before). The reasons for the new values ​​are a recalibration and a new exhaust. The latter remains unchanged on the outside, but a larger catalyst spreads inside.

The dimensions of the exhaust manifold of the rear cylinder bank have been optimized in order to bring the catalytic converters up to operating temperature more quickly. Compared to the Euro 4 models, they have been shortened by 100 millimeters and the diameter has been reduced from 42 to 38 mm. With the bends, the rear heat shield also shrinks. Another new feature is the use of four lambda sensors, one for each cylinder, which enable more precise control of the amount of fuel injected.

New color, new hand pumps

There are also changes to the brake and clutch pumps. All Streetfighter V4 models of the 2021 series have pumps that bleed themselves – derived from the pumps used for the first time on the Superleggera V4.

The expanded color palette for 2021 shows that a Ducati doesn’t always have to be red. The Dark Stealth color scheme for the V4 S version is a new addition to the range.

The entire Streetfighter V4 range for 2021, including the Dark Stealth paint scheme for the "S."-Version, can be ordered immediately. The basic version is offered from 19,490 euros. The V4 S starts at 22,890 euros, the dark version starts at 23,090 euros. The first models are expected to hit stores in November 2020.
