The BMW Tyco team had four racing motorcycles stolen overnight from Sunday to Monday, when the Birmingham Motorcycle Show (England) had just ended. The loot is estimated at around £ 200,000, or nearly a quarter of a million euros…

A little over a year ago – already! -, Site had the chance to ride six racing S1000RRs, two of which were entered in 2015 by the BMW Tyco team: in the British Superbike with the driver Tommy Bridewell, in the Tourist Trophy and in other spectacular road races with the company of the most famous Guy Martin…

This second bike – MNC’s favorite – has just been stolen, along with three other machines prepared this season by the English team: the Superstock by Ian Hutchison (victorious at, and), the Superbike by Christian Iddon (with swingarm Suter) and a training Superstock (for Iddon too).

According to the daily Belfast Telegraph, the value of the four S1000RR would be around 200,000 pounds sterling (around 230,000 euros). But it goes far beyond … "We put all our heart and soul into the competition and these motorcycles have a real sentimental value", believes Philip Neil, the boss of the team..

"What just happened devastates us, quite simply, especially since the motorcycles were present at Motorcycle Live only so that racing fans can see them up close", laments Mister Neil who will ride a certain Davide Giugliano in BSB next year, by the way !

Stored in one of the team’s trucks – parked in their hotel parking lot not far from the Birmingham Exhibition Center – the S1000RRs were loaded into a white Ford Transit overnight from Sunday to Monday. Alerted on social networks, team fans are invited to communicate any clue that would allow them to find the asshole… thieves. Following a sudden increase in traffic, the BMW Tyco site would have blown up … but the motorcycles have still not been found! "Good luck guys".
