Videos of the Tourist Trophy 2019: the highlights of the 100th edition

Following the Tourist Trophy races through the Site reports is good. Watch the summaries of the six solo races of 2019 (2 Superbike, 2 Supersport, Superstock and Lightweight) on video thanks to the organizers… it is good too ! Motors, action.

Site readers – who, as everyone knows, are a bit more fortunate than others – were able to follow the six main races of the Tourist Trophy 2019 contested last week on the "deadly" Isle of Man route: 60 km and 219 turns through towns, glades and mountains !

Failing to have been brilliant, this 100th edition of the "TiTi" was remarkable: in addition to the tragic disappearance of the young Daley Mathison during the Superbike race, MNC retains the harsh weather which stopped the first Supersport race after two laps , then generated many postponements and sometimes drastic reductions in the number of laps in the race…

Last Thursday, the second Supersport race was thus limited to two short laps instead of four, that of Superstock to three (instead of four yet) and that of Lightweight to two (instead of four always!). In the solo category that day, only the electric motorbike race respected its format: 1 lap. Hard to do less, no ?

It was not until the last day (Friday) that the riders were treated to a full race: the second Superbike round, nicknamed Senior TT, lasted six laps. Unfortunately for the show, the duel between Hickman and Harrison lasted only four loops, after which the new # 60 S1000RR (re) overheated, delivering the victory to the # 2 Ninja….

Shorter therefore, the 2019 TT events have nevertheless kept their intensity. We can see this by watching their video summaries – and in English … – proposed by the Gentils Organisateurs. On your marks, get set, watch !
