From June 2020, Triumph will be offering a new special model in 007 design limited to 250 copies: the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition.

D.he is the latest installment in the Bond feature film series entitled "No time to die" will open in German cinemas in November 2020. As is already known, James Bond will be seen more often on the motorcycle in the new 007 strip, more precisely on a Triumph Scrambler 1200. Triumph is also bringing the bike ridden in the film onto the market as a limited special edition – the so-called Bond Edition, there will be a total of 250 copies. Actually, the special model should have started earlier, but due to the postponed film start due to the Corona crisis, the motorcycle manufacturer has also postponed the launch of the special model.

007 logos as far as the eye can see

Basically the 007-Triumph is based on the Scrambler 1200 XE. Correspondingly, the Bond Edition also develops 90 hp at 7,400 rpm and 110 Nm at 3,950 rpm. The paintwork is mostly black. The 007 logo is used in some places on the bike. The name of the action hero from the films of the same name also finds its place in various places on the motorcycle, for example the seat. The Bond logo can also be seen on the TFT screen. Most of the other components were also largely painted black. Here and there you will also find golden painted components. The exhaust system from Arrow fits seamlessly into the thoroughly successful overall concept. Each copy comes with a numbered edition placard and unique emblems.

It looks like Triumph seems to have taken a liking to positioning its bikes in big blockbuster films. Jurassic World fans will certainly remember the Triumph Scrambler, which was seen in the Dino film and was then auctioned on Ebay. The 007 triumph presented here should be much easier to get hold of – nevertheless, interested parties should hold on: The Bond bike will be available from dealers from June 2020 and is available from 18,550 euros (plus 450 additional delivery costs). In Austria, the 007-Triumph is a bit more expensive with a starting price from 21,400 euros (including ancillary costs and NOVA). In addition to the motorcycle itself, buyers also receive a matching backpack and a numbered certificate signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor.
