The 5000 euros for the conversion are worth it?

One man, one passion, one mission. In the flourishing customizing scene in the cruiser and retro classic segment, SBF boss and Stuttgart Triumph flagship store owner Uwe Schafer has also been part of the party for some time. In the past few years, when mostly naked bikes were refined with noble materials, the retro wave is now also being used.

S.chafer’s mechanic, Dennis Sauter, knows the custom scene well and is now able to lend a hand in an official SBF mission – this time on a Triumph Speedmaster, which has come up with a bold make-up. You quickly notice in conversation that Sauter understands his craft, and the end product confirms this impression.

What is new, however, is the dragbar handlebar from LSL, which is equipped with handlebar end indicators, stylish mirrors and fine rubber grips. Although this is broad and not for short-armed people, it only requires a small impulse on the handlebars to delicately define the line for the bike. The cables and Bowden cables in the front area were laid a little nicer, namely less noticeable.

In addition, the maintenance of the motorcycle is much easier thanks to the final drive conversion from chain to belt (by VH). In addition to less wear, there is no longer any nasty chain grease on the rims and hopefully the Metzeler whitewall tires will live up to their name for a long time.

If you want an individually designed bike and a good friend for your garage at home, you should take a closer look at Mr. Brown. Whether you want the complete package or just install a few elements on your Speedmaster is of course up to you. From a purely emotional point of view, the around 5000 euros conversion costs are definitely worth it.
