Desert Edition and Alpine Edition

Triumph is launching two new special models of the Tiger 1200 for the 2020 season. The Desert Edition and the Alpine Edition offer extended equipment and special paintwork.

D.he special editions of the big travel enduro are inspired by the deserts of this world as the Desert Edition based on the XC and by the mountain ranges of this world as the Alpine Edition based on the XR.

Special designs

In hard facts, this means that the Desert Edition wears a sandstorm paint dress with a special desert decor. The Alpine Edition also comes in Snowdonia White with an Alpine design. Both editions have in common the Arrow titanium rear silencer and the gearshift assistant, which allows upshifts and downshifts without a clutch.

Extensive equipment

On the drive side, the 1,215 cm³ three-cylinder with 141 hp and 122 Nm torque remains, which should sound even more powerful thanks to the titanium exhaust. Additional features include an adjustable full-color TFT display in the cockpit, cornering ABS and traction control, up to five driving modes, complete LED lighting, semi-active suspension, cruise control, keyless go, heated grips, sockets, USB socket, illuminated switches and an adjustable touring screen.

Both special models will be available in Germany from the end of February 2020. The Alpine Edition costs from 17,050 euros (plus additional costs) and the Desert Edition from 18,050 euros (plus additional costs).
