This is perhaps the last appearance of the 900 Scrambler as we know it. With the arrival of the Street Twin and its new more lively 900 engine, the Scrambler should soon be updated … Unless Triumph has bigger ambitions for it with the new 1200 platform that drives the Bonneville T120 and Thruxton. The motorcycle would earn the letters of nobility it deserves; and it also deserves that we come back on its course. There was a small update for the Scrambler in the year of grace 2014. With hints of black on the rims, hubs, handlebars and the rear master cylinder reservoir cap, the bike appreciates the philosophy of the “Back to Black”. With a revised saddle, the seat is more relaxed and the style dubbed by an embossed Triumph logo. The motor gains a brushed anodized steel shoe and its fins receive a blow of the grinder to make the metal breathe visually.

The scrambler – a style of motorcycle that gently resurfaces, ancestor of the trail and characterized by its exhausts on the side in the high position. Originally, the scrambler is a road bike that has been somewhat modified to venture on rolling tracks. The method of yesteryear has been applied today. Take a road full of charm and nostalgia, like the Bonneville T 100. Raise the ground clearance and the exhausts a little, put on studded tires, a large handlebar, add a little touch of homage 
to the mythical TR6 (Steve Mc Queen, does that mean anything to you?) and here you are at the controls of a machine that smells like the adventurer of the 70s. Close your eyes and it’s adventure. Keep an eye out and savor the simplicity and elegance of the dashboard. Get started! He no longer pisses oil but it is still a twin that drives this Triumph.
