Was the corner of the forest long enough? The Tiger 800 XC obviously had only one urge to overcome and come back to it. A very clear penchant for outings of all stripes but the encouraging option of off-road tires speaks volumes about his obvious desire.
Just below, the XCx already offers a lot to experience both near and far regions. But … to go to these regions of all over there, some will want an additional dose of comfort. Cruise control, heated grips, adjustable WP suspensions, traction control … We are not going to redo the entire listing. No need to dwell on the 200 modifications that Triumph claims for its 800 Tiger. Let’s be more attentive to the excess equipment that the XCA claims for more intense use.
A fairly recent touch of refinement in the motorcycling microsome: the backlit switches. The little extra that is very pleasant at nightfall, making it easier to control the onboard controls, including the multi-axis joystick for the 5-inch TFT screen. Then, the sitting will find its ease in the winter with the heated saddles.
A surplus of technology is installed with LED daytime running lights ensuring a stronger light identity. There are six Riding Modes here: Off-Road Pro, Road, Rain, Off-Road, Sport and Rider – the latter is programmable.
The enrichment is completed by the pair of LED fog lights, the central stand and the aluminum radiator protection.
More comfortable, supporting a plethora of equipment, more successful with increased efficiency on and off-road, the Triumph Tiger 800 XCA represents the pinnacle of mid-size trails from the English manufacturer. A privileged location that comes at a high price.
