With the so-called "Sean wotherspoon" the popular Vespa Primavera will be available in a new and very colorful special series from July 2020.

Visitors to last year’s EICMA could see the one presented in this article Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon look familiar. The Piaggio Group had already presented the special model to the public for the first time at the Milan trade fair in November 2019. More than six months later, the Primavera in the special paint is now rolling out to dealers. Vespa had already presented a new special model recently, which was created in cooperation with the fashion label Christian Dior. Tea Primavera presented here was also created in collaboration with a fashion designer from the USA. Sean Wotherspoon is currently considered one of the most influential street culture designers in the USA.

Colorful paintwork very noticeable

Attentive observers should certainly first notice the very colorful paintwork of the Vespa special model. The base coat is kept yellow. Red and green colors can also be seen in various places on the bike. The bench is matching this in a light brown. The rims were painted white, as were the various Vespa and Primavera logos on the scooter. In terms of color scheme, Sean Wotherspoon and PIaggio, according to their own statements, are based on the style of the 80s and 90s.

Technically, the Vespa special model does not differ from the Primavera versions that are already available. Tea "Sean wotherspoon" available as 50 and 125 variants from July 1, 2020. In Germany, the Vespa Primavera 50 Sean Wotherspoon costs from 3,880 euros. The 125 version is available from 4,860 euros. For comparison: the standard Primavera costs from 3,520 euros (50s) and 4,610 euros (125s).

Matching helmet in Wotherspoon design

Piaggio also offers accessories in the Sean Wotherspoon design to match the special model. The open face helmet in particular is likely to meet with greater interest, as its color goes very well with the paintwork of the special model. The Sean Wotherspoon collection also includes two t-shirts. Unfortunately, Piaggio did not provide detailed information about the accessories in the official press release.
