The tire manufacturer Apollo-Vredestein is expanding its Centauro motorcycle tire range to include models for super athletes and sports tourers.

With the new Centauro NS, tire manufacturer Vredestein is entering the supersport tire segment. The radial tire with a zero-degree steel belt construction is intended to ensure stability and dynamic behavior under all conditions. For the tread compounds, Vredestein promises a very quick warm-up of the tire as well as a high degree of road contact, maximum grip and structural strength. The multi-radius profile was developed to ensure control and precision in all driving conditions, as well as uniform wear throughout the life of the tire.

Vredestein Centauro NS-Supersport

The Centauro NS will be available from the first quarter of 2021 in the sizes 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) TL for front wheels and 190/55 ZR 17 (75W) TL, 180/55 ZR 17 (73W) TL, 200/55 ZR 17 ( 78W) TL for rear wheels.

New sports touring offers

Another new addition to the Vredestein range is the Xply Centauro ST sport touring tire, with a tread compound derived from radial technology. This should enable excellent driving behavior under various conditions and temperatures. The new Xply will gradually be launched on the market in 18 sizes from November 2020. Vredestein is expanding its range of sizes for the Centauro ST sport touring radial tire. In addition to the already available dimensions 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) TL for front wheels and 180/55 ZR 17 (73W) TL for rear wheels, the latter as standard in a single-layer version and in a two-layer configuration for motorcycles and / or heavy luggage, from November 2020 additional dimensions added: 150/70 ZR17 (69W), 160/60 ZR 17 (69W) TL, 170/60 ZR17 (72W), 190/50 ZR 17 (73W) TL and 190/55 ZR 17 (75W) TL, the latter in the single-layer standard version and in the two-layer configuration.
