WSBK 2010: Leon Camier joins Max Biaggi at Aprilia
Young British driver Leon Camier, 23, will be Max Biaggi’s new teammate in the Aprilia Racing team for the 2010 World Superbike Championship .

So Aprilia decided in view of the "excellent results obtained in particular in Portimao (6th and 7th)". Private tests in Portugal then confirmed the choice of the young Briton to drive the RSV 4 (read).
Born in Ashford (Great Britain) on August 4, 1986, Leon Camier made his debut riding the Aprilia RSV 4 at the end of the 2009 season, first at Magny-Cours (read) then at Portimao ( read).
He won the English 125cc championship in 2001 before taking the British Supersport title in 2005 on Honda..
Arrived in the British Superbike Championship in 2007 still on Honda, he finished 8th overall after a serious accident that year, then 5th in 2008 on Ducati and finally champion this year on Yamaha, with "18 victories out of 26 races (a record ) and three second places ", rejoices Aprilia.
