Powerful acceleration, stable and comfortable chassis, plus a very comfortable sitting position for naked bike conditions: these are the ingredients that make the shine Yamaha MT-10. A package that appeals directly to fans of wind in their faces. But these properties are actually suitable for a lot more, even those with a tourist inclination to appreciate the features mentioned. Can the tourist package do something?

At Yamaha, they didn’t have to let the sake circulate for long to offer the appropriate range of accessories for the bare sweeper. Can the tourist package do anything? The test to the example should prove it. The pilot crouches almost unprotected on the standard Yamaha MT-10. The high-cut sports screen changes that. It blends in well with the line of the front and, when slightly crouched, provides good protection even beyond 180 km / h. A real asset on brisk stretches of the motorway. This also applies to the comfort bench. It spoils the buttocks with sofa flair. The passenger also benefits from this cuddly plus for the bottom. In contrast to the original MT-10 upholstery in the second row, the pillion seat of the comfort bench is cut much larger. But: Nothing changes in the narrow knee angle or the measly payload. On the contrary, the installed original accessories weigh an additional 11 kilograms, leaving only around 155 kilograms of payload. This includes, for example, the holder for the two soft side pockets. Yamaha is praising it as robust, durable and light, with the first two characteristics most aptly describing the look. So leave the side pockets on, which can be securely attached to the carrier via three locking points.
