Austrians celebrate 20 years of R6
The Yamaha YZF-R6 has been holding the flags high in the super sports segment for 20 years. The Austrian racing team YART is celebrating this anniversary with a specially prepared special series.
The Yamaha YZF-R6 is one of the few remaining players in the 600 super sports class. Your steadfastness now results in an anniversary. The Austrian racing team YART (Yamaha Austria Racing Team) is celebrating 20 years of the R6 with a corresponding special model, which is only offered exclusively in Europe and can only be obtained directly from YART (office@yart7.com). YART calls for a price of 19,999 euros plus taxes. However, this includes a two-year guarantee and free delivery. The standard R6 is available from German dealers from 14,449 euros (including taxes).
Special paint and fine parts
And what does the Anniversary model offer at a hefty surcharge? Tired of tuning parts that more than justify the price! The anniversary model wraps its racing fairing in a red, black and white paint coat that is reminiscent of the Japanese racing paintwork. In addition, the 600 series is equipped with a complete titanium system from Akrapovic. The spring elements at the front (cartridge) and rear (TTX GP strut) as well as the steering damper are supplied by Ohlins. YART also installs a racing kit electrics and lots of other delicious accessories. The serial number is milled into the upper triple clamp
If you want one of the special models, you should hurry up. Only 20 copies were handcrafted and run in on the test bench. According to YART, the demand is high. Eight machines have already been sold.
