In line with Yamaha’s “star” customs, here is not only the oldest but also the most unique. Indeed, this big machine abandons the traditional twin in V for an impressive V4. A big engine that has already made people talk about it, because it is closely derived from the mechanics equipping the GT 1300 Venture and the well-known 1200 V max.. Calm down, it turns in its very distinctive way but does not offer as much power as on the turbulent V-max. If you want more thrills and big torque, it may be better to go for the 1600 Wild Star from the same manufacturer. Apart from its mechanical considerations, it is good to see that Yam designed a beautiful machine which perfectly illustrates the type of American motorcycle. An imposing appearance, a very good quality finish, the Royal Star will make passers-by turn back. We will especially benefit from this machine by making its chrome shine in the avenues or by adopting a driving cast on the departmental roads. Do not count on it for a sporty rhythm: the immense running boards rub at the slightest excess of optimism and the feeble braking is not the party to stop this beautiful big custom.
