Very small, very discreet, the YBR 125 is one of those unpretentious machines that want to take you everywhere and all the time. They were once legion, forming part of everyone’s daily life. Today, this small urban Yam is one of the few Japanese in this segment.. Part utility, part girlfriend, it gained in style in 2014 with a sharp headlight, drawing a rough fork crown.
This appendix gives it boldness without changing its nature. No other technical modification disturbs its obligations. A very simple steel chassis, a 4T mono injection, a luggage rack to cram a few things, the YBR 125 is just waiting to slip into town. You should not expect great enthusiasm or outbursts of sportsmanship. The machine is economical, accessible, easy, simple … quite the opposite of an R1, and that’s exactly what we ask of it. With the arrival of the MT-125, the YBR will have to practice in the wake of a sister with long teeth. But it retains a far from insignificant tariff advantage.
