The broadcast will begin on Saturday at 2 p.m., one hour before the start, and end on Sunday at 4 p.m. after the podium..

The SERT Suzuki did indeed give up a little ground at 10:43 a.m., when after only three laps of his stint Daisaku Sakai brought back the GSX-R n ° 1 and brought it inside the pit to set off again one minute later..

"Nothing very bad", tempers Meliand: "the saddle was broken, we changed it and now we are leaving". But the Kawasaki n ° 11 naturally took the opportunity to take a little air.

"Great moments of stress until the arrival"

Dominique Meliand was already showing a particularly smile less than five hours from the finish: "for now, we can take this first place, so we will try not to let it pass. But the friends next door think the same thing, so it promises great moments of stress until the finish! "

"Engine management allows us to extend the relays"

At Kawasaki, Christian Bourgeois confirms that the Greens have "worked a lot on engine management which allows us to extend the relays" and secretly hopes that the boss of SERT will play more for the title in the world championship (for which a second place would be sufficient given the delay taken by the BMW this morning) than the victory at Le Mans…

But Dominique Meliand is not the man to be satisfied with a second place, which is more on his land: while the ZX-10R n ° 11 completed its 700th lap, turning almost a second faster than the GSX- R n ° 1, three hours from the finish, the times are reversed and the Suzuki takes nearly a second per lap like Kawasaki !

At 11:00 am, the n ° 11 ZX-10R maintains its advantage with one lap and 30 seconds ahead of its pursuer, while the n ° 99 BMW suddenly returns to the pits for an unforeseen mechanical intervention … It sets out again at 11:07 am later. an immobilization of 6 minutes, leaving the Yamaha n ° 4 of Folch Endurance in its turn to take a little air while the Suzuki n ° 50 Motors Events takes back the 7th place scratch.

But hardly left – still in the hands of Damian Cudlin -, the BMW n ° 99 shows signs of weakness: the whole team of BMW Motorrad France is about to receive it again in the box … but it remains finally on the track, the pilot having successfully resolved his clutch cable problem !

Also note a little earlier the minor fall of the Kawasaki n ° 33 from Louit Moto 9:53 am at the Connection, which earned the pilot a short but trying stroller session with the rear tire flat. !

Finally at 11:22 am, Suzuki n ° 50 returned to the pit for an unscheduled stop. She left quickly after leaving the reins of the category to the Suzuki n ° 72 of the Junior Team … which in turn stopped at 11:26 am and remained stuck in the pits longer than expected! The students of the Lycee Le Mans Sud are busy on the gearbox while Cedric Tangre is impatient before being able to leave at 11:30 am, after 6 minutes of stop…

At 3 hours from the finish, it is therefore still the n ° 50 GSX-R from Motors Events which dominates the Superstocks with one lap ahead of the n ° 83 ZX-10R from Maccio Racing and three laps over the men. by Damien Saulnier.
