With this high power density you won’t get very far with E-10 fuel. The engine only runs on 118 octane racing gasoline. The mixture finds its way through a single valve in the cylinder head, which is, however, an absurd 68 millimeters in diameter – the size of a piston in a 600cc four-cylinder from Honda. The exhaust valve measures 50 millimeters in diameter. The huge valves are controlled by two camshafts per cylinder head, which are driven by gear wheels. It should come as little surprise that the exhaust manifolds are over 50 millimeters in diameter.

Strength means thirst
