Producing mainly in small displacement, Aprilia has done quite well with its first big sports car. Its engine, a V twin open at 60 °, is a technological gem. In addition to injection, it is equipped with a pneumatic clutch assistance system for downshifting gears.. Some regrets, however: the rear shock absorber does not accept small shocks on bumpy roads. As for the brakes, a little more bite on heavy braking would not be too much..
With obvious qualities, the RSV is seen as one of the best sports twins on the market. Its behavior makes it as efficient and much less demanding than a 996. A machine capable of much more than it looks..
