Aprilia Scarabeo 125, 100, 50 cm3
Scooter
flagship for the Italian brand, the Scarabeo is especially noticed
by its large 16-inch wheels. In GT version, it also offers
a huge luggage capacity: the top-case and the saddlebags
sides offer 90 liters of capacity ! At the opposite
large current scoots, it offers a retro image, which is fading
partly on its handlebars, thanks to the speedometer and the big chrome headlight
pleasant. The driving position is ideal, with
legs at 90 °, firmly seated on a very
comfortable. With its 140 kilos dry, it reveals itself
a little heavy to handle for its category but is revealed
on the other hand particularly stable at high speed. The single cylinder
four stroke takes everything to a good 120 km / h without difficulty.
The single front disc offers good progressiveness.
the
scarabeo was available in a GT2 version,
without side cases and with a small deflector
instead of the huge windshield … There are also 100
cm3; the major interest is then at the level of the price, all
small: 2149 euros compared to 3799 euros for the 125 version
GT. 
TO
this price there, he loses his suitcases, a smaller top-case,
forty kilos and twenty kilometers / hour. He prefers
women.
Available in 50 cm3, it goes to two strokes but wins the injection,
loses his top case and wins a mini-prize of 1699 euros.
Aprilia Atlantic 125, 250 and 500 cc
With
the Atlantic 125, unveiled in January 2003, Aprilia offers
a scooter joining the current canons in terms of forms and performances.
Its imposing size brings it closer to its big brother 250 or 500,
or competing maxi-scooters. The lines are sharp
with a sharp double frontal optic overhung by a
high bubble. The saddle is wide and comfortable. The optional top case
offers a capacity of 45 liters.
His
template penalizes it when stationary and at low speed
for maneuvers; it is then set back in relation to maneuverability
brought by a model like the Scarabeo. On the other hand,
as soon as it is launched, it finds its full reason for being
with impeccable handling. The accelerations are
clean and straightforward up to the red zone located
8,000 rpm, and a 130 km / h counter. The brakes are up to the task,
aided by the double disc brake and coupled braking
front / rear: a novelty at Aprilia in 125 cm3.
The model is ideal for those who want to get away
from the city center with a model offering protection and comfort.
And when we go from the 125 to the 250 cm3, we appreciate the
gain in torque and power with further acceleration
sharper, which will be particularly appreciated
for overtaking on expressways.
Aprilia Leonardo 250
the
Leonardo is located halfway between the Scarabeo and the Atlantic
in terms of template. Evolution of 50cm3 scooters, it offers a
easy to handle and an ideal template for the city. His low saddle
allows feet to be placed flat on the ground, including on a crutch
central. Its small twelve-inch wheels offer a light front
and player. 
The
displacement allows to have good times and to overtake
140 km / h … without reaching the generous 160 km / h announced
on the counter.
In terms of practicality, we find here a housing under the saddle
able to accommodate a full face helmet.
Aprilia SR 50 Ditech
We
find here the scooter of the beginnings … The lines are traditional
but with hints of black and red, and aided by the double
lenticular optics give a rewarding racing look. The double fire
rear is not left out here.
Lightweight, handy and with amazing pickups, 
the
Ditech surprises … especially when compared to the 125cc. And we wonder
even if the counter does not derail when you see the needle
flirt with 80 km / h! Certainly, the model is unbridled here,
but it also shows the potential of these cars and we understand
that they are unfortunately so quickly unbridled.
Aprilia RS 50 Repsol
The
RS 50 represents access to the sporting image of the
motorcycle for young future bikers by offering a real
petite sportswoman: position resting on the wrists, central tachometer
prominent with red zone at 11,000 rpm, temperature
oil … only the small speedometer limited to 80
km / h recalls the displacement.
The
first allows you to start quickly … and speeds
quickly mount one behind the other to put
the needle at the cleat, at 80 km / h. Disc brakes
front and rear offer more than correct braking
and sensations with a cup !
At 2850 euros, the 50 still comes at the same price as a
125 and will therefore be reserved for an elite.
