The top model costs almost 145,000 euros

Arch Motorcyles has revised its top model, the KRGT-1, in many details for the 2020 model year. The refreshed version could be seen at EICMA. It can now also be ordered in Europe.

A.At first glance, the Arch KRGT-1 from the motorcycle manufacture of Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger looks hardly changed. In fact, around 150 new parts and 20 visible modifications should be distributed over the long-haul power cruiser.

ABS now series

The innovations include a slightly adapted bodywork, further refined, fully adjustable Ohlins spring elements, improved ergonomics, a modified braking system and ABS as standard equipment. The most striking change relates to the rear swing arm. The new component is made up of various milled aluminum parts that are welded together. The weight should have decreased significantly and the rigidity increased significantly.


Arch Motorcycle

The side, also milled frame plates, which accommodate the motor and swing arm, have also been adapted to this. The 48er Ohlins NIX USD fork is in new, triple clamped fork bridges. Radially attached ISR six-piston pliers with enlarged brake piston diameters are located on the fork feet. The 2.023 cm³ V2 from S remains unchanged&S, which has 124 hp and 165 Nm and which only meets Euro 4.

Improved ergonomics

The newly formed aluminum tank and the modified seat, together with the new footrest systems, are intended to better integrate the rider into the bike, while the new cockpit fairing increases the wind protection. A new LED headlight sits under it. The optics package is rounded off with a new carbon front fender. For the gear train, the Arch KRGT-1 relies on five-spoke carbon rims from BST and Commander II tires from Michelin.

Since every Arch bike is still built by hand, customers have many ways of influencing their particular dream motorcycle. Building an arch takes around 90 days.

Price from 144,666 euros

The refreshed Arch can now be ordered from the new importer (the company Speedbox GmbH in Wettingen / Switzerland) for Germany, Austria and Switzerland in this country too. The price is steep, however. After all punitive tariffs have been added, the Arch KRGT-1 is charged EUR 144,666. The net price should be 92,800 euros.
